    This is exactly what I did, rang them (actually online chat) in April this year to say I was going to contribute 9600 gross to my sipp in the coming tax year and they adjusted my tax code for the rest of the year.


    Edit: Note the taxcode adjustment was only tax relief of the higher tax band of my earnings. The original 20% is credited automatically to my Sipp
