Not tried morrisons before but asda's was good last year.
I agree. I've bought large joints and cut them up myself into mini joints and even cubes for casseroles. They're generally leaner and cheaper per kg than buying a stewing steak cut.
Have been waiting for Asda to reduce the beef as they have done just before Christmas for last3 years not as cheap this year as previously but at £5 kg instead of £6.99 still a good deal.
We have loads of the Morrisons beef in the freezer, bought during their last offer at £4 kg. We roasted one joint and it was very nice The rest will be used for curries, casseroles etc and minced for chilli.
It’s really good and you can’t get some old bit of donkey at that price :rotfl:
