Just a little tip: I think the appearance of hummingbird is timed. I noticed from previous games it appears every half an hour irrespective of which merchant's page you visit. It appears between 5-10 minutes and 35-40 minutes past each hour. Try re-visiting/refreshing any merchant's page in those times and you might catch one.

PS. I just caught one at 36 minutes past, but only got prize draw entry

That doesn't make any sense based on my experience. Sometimes I'll get two or three in a row, then nothing aside from the daily clue for a couple of days

Nice theory, but I just got a hummingbird at 21:19, I think the only pattern is that once you've got a random bird it seems to be an hour or two before you get another one.
