Me neither, sort of. The only presents I got at all were 6 mini glycerine soaps that DD made at Guides, a bottle of Baileys from MIL and a large bar of Dairymilk from DS. Me and DH told people we didn't want anything at all, we have loads and loads of stuff and I am trying to declutter.

I've spent pretty much all of Christmas in bed with this awful cold/flu virus which is doing the rounds, up today but still feel rubbish. I haven't looked at online sales at all as many of you know I have taken a step back from this over consumption lark - what it is doing has sunk in and I am horrified at my part in it.

I hope you get well soon dolly84

    One UU this morning:

Lush It's Raining Men Shower Gel sample WBA. This was nice. It was sort of thick and runny like honey, and it smells nice. Will buy once my shower gel stash is seriously reduced.

I'll post later what toiletries I received for Christmas :)

I received a Bayliss & Harding bubble bath which will be regifted. Not a fan of B&H and also don't have a bath, so a complete waste. :o
And also a random perfume, TBH can't remember the name so it will also be regifted.

Did do quite well giving toiletries away - made up a Body Shop hamper gift set of facial cream, shower gel, body butter and lip balm.
A large bag of toiletries received through a magazine subscription :D and a Boots gift set from a sale some time ago.
So I MUST be reducing my stash but it doesn't look like it though!! :p
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I found some samples from The Body Shop today that I forgot I had. Should be some nice easy use ups for December/January so I've added them to my PP list. Still not been tempted to get anything in sales thank goodness! I think I have a tendency to buy things I don't need when I'm upset or stressed.

I got off lightly with Christmas INS.
A cute little Nivea gift set with travel sizes of a roll-on deo, a body cream, shower cream and a lip balm.
A NSpa gift set of 250 ml raspberry shower and bath gel, 50 ml clementine shower scrub, and a 50 ml raspberry body spray. I'll probably keep this for spring.

First UU in ages of a Avon shower cream that was something like salted caramel I think. It wasn't a spring/summer scent, so it has taken a year to use up.

Latest review I've been able to post is of a Clairol Colour Crave Hair Make Up in Rose Gold. I like it, sort of, but only just. It only just deserved four stars. Too messy, as it leaked from the tube, it's supposed to be a non-drip sponge applicator for dry hair. One reviewer said the platinum variant burned their scalp.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

I repurchased my foundation yesterday. Am now using Kat Von D Lock it Foundation however I broke the outer packaging when I dropped it and this contained the shade name. Wasn't sure that I remembered the shade and didn't want to wing it by ordering online so took my bottle instore to colour match it. The only stockist I know of is Debenhams in Manchester and we were going there yesterday to see Elf The Musical so I bought it now. If I had made another journey into Manchester when it runs out I would be tempted to spend more. I probably have a good month or two's worth of product left in my current one,

    My 5 by Christmas list

    Garnier Oil Free BB Cream
Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Blush - surely this time I can finish it
    [STRIKE]Bare Minerals Brightening Primer[/STRIKE]
    No7 Stay Perfect Smoothing Eyeshadow
Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Birthday Suit - I would just like to hit pan on this.

    My updated lists.

I don't think I will finish the other two items on my PP list this month now.

As for the 5 by Christmas list that hasn't gone well.

The BB cream feels light but it just keeps going, I will use the blush till the end of the year then call it done, it is hard to get on my brush and I am fed up of it too, there is only a thin ring left. I didn't hit pan on the Benefit eyeshadow and it looks nowhere near and there is still quite a lot of the No7 eyeshadow left too.

I will do another challenge next year, probably 5 by Spring and try to finish these then.

Dolly 84 - I hope that you are feeling a little better, so many horrid bugs doing the rounds:(

    My Christmas INs
90ml BS Camomile Cleansing Butter 2/65
Nails Inc set of Ghetto Galactic and Rocket Fuel, I had been lusting after these for ages and found a great offer on Nail Polish Direct, so bought with some Christmas money.

Nail Polish and associated items are not included in my challenge, but I feel the need to account for them, cannot them tell myself I am spending less on toiletries:o

When I have a thin ring of powder product I Crush the product to pick it up that way. My Dallas blush is still going strong this way too. Hope it's gone by New Year so I can start afresh. I'm up for 5 by Spring too.
