Hi, I just purchased a Friedland SA3 burglar alarm kit (http://www.responsesecurity.co.uk/consumer/products/item.asp?id=1004#)
I was just wondering if anyone else had any of the friedland wireless products and what they think of it, I've heard good stuff about yale alarms but no idea about these ones hence wanted to know its a good one before I open it and cant return it.
Thanks for reading

Take a look at this Blog posting regarding these alarms.

Damn it, not sure what to do now, Yale probably have a similar vulnerability too,0

I was looking to get a wireless alarm system earlier in the year and came across that blog post while doing some research.
I went for the Yale system instead because it does not use the same dip switches that make the Response alarms so easy to crack.
I have no detailed technical knowledge but I could figure out how to exploit the vulnerability in the Response alarm in about 20 minutes.0 -
shame, was abargain at £45 from BNQ clearance yesterday, will try and find a better yale one,
Thanks for the replies0
