Hi,
I'm applying for a job. There's a field I'm not sure what should I answer. It's "Reason for seeking to change role" I assumed this is the bit where you tell them why you want this job? I was made redundant from my last job but I don't think it's relevant to the question? There's another section where you need to give supporting statement (how your skills and experience match the job requirement.)
Please advise.
Many thanks.

I think it is relevant, I read it as asking why you want to leave your current job, so you would put that you have been made redundant.Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0

I agree with ceh209's interpretation of the question.0

Depending on how much you can put there, it could also be a place to show why you want that particular job and it isn't part of applying blindly for anything and everything. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Start it " Having been made redundant from my last position I am...", or words to that effect. Suits both interpretations.0
