Has anyone ordered from the Ugg Australia website? (sizing question!)

Thanks but the post wasn't for me, my style is a bit too stylised for Uggs to look right!
I did however want to update on the size issue; the size my friend ordered was a size 6. The boots arrived last week (took a long time to arrive which was down to the courier (DPD) rather than Ugg by the way- just to warn anyone). She did in fact get boots with a size 6.5 on the label which was what she wanted. The box reads size 8, not what she was led to believe going on the table on their site but not really a huge issue for her.
Just in case anyone wanted a rule of thumb for ordering; she'd picked a pair of the fluffy types of boots (not the sleek unlined type) and had ordered a half size down from what arrived. So if you were for example after a size 5.5, you'd be ordering a size 5, if you wanted a pair of size 8.5 on the label, you'd order a size 8...etc.
Hope this helps someone anyway! I think I'll just stick to UK shoes myself :rotfl:Too much hassle!!0 -
I'm in Australia now and the shoe size rule is:
WOMEN: AU and US women's sizes are the same.
MEN and KIDS: AU and UK men & kids' sizes are the same.0 -

Hope you're enjoying your heat wave! Thanks for the info- it wasn't so much the size in itself, it was trying to work out what to order so the shoes came in the size you wanted, which in my friends case meant that if she wanted her size to be on the boots, she needed to order a half size down from what she wanted.
Apparently the US size on the box is a size 8, she size on the boot is a size 6.5 the size she ordered was a size 6Maybe the same in AUS but in the UK if you want a pair of Uggs you need to order differently from what you get.
