Having been comping for many years, some more successful than others (!!!) I have always gone with the enter and then forget approach and it means when the wins come they are always a nice surprise.

Occasionally though I enter a competition that sticks in my mind and I give the prize and the hope of winning a lot more thought, it’s not always a high value item, sometimes it’s just something really nice or that I have wanted.

This month I entered a fb Comp with a high end Jewellers for a diamond ring. I lost my wonderful engagement and wedding ring a few years back which still to this day breaks my heart when I think about them.

This particular ring in the Comp was exactly the same shape as my engagement ring and being at Christmas I lost them something just sparked my inner hope that perhaps I might be the luck winner lol...

Don’t think I am btw as pretty sure it ended ages ago!!!

Anyone else have the odd competition that they cross their fingers for everyday?

I'm the same as you. Enter and forget. Occasionally I do cross my fingers for certain ones or do multiple entries for stuff I really want. I don't usually do mag dailies or the click 2 wins. If I do its usually one entry and forget about it.. but there was 2 mag dailies I entered every day in the hopes of winning. One was to win a limited edition 'Assassins' Creed Origins' pair of Yeezy trainers. I'm a HUGE assassins creed fan and have all the games and loads of figures and things like that and I would love to have won them for to go in the collection. They only made around 30 pairs and all of them were given away in competitions and couldn't be bought anywhere. It ended a few days ago so either I didn't win or it's going to be drawn in a day or so.

The other mag daily I entered was to win a holiday to ibiza. It's still going for another day or two here. The reason I'm doing that one is because I won a holiday to the same hotel last year and it was fantastic. Great location, great hotel, great food so would love to go back again.

Obviously there are others over time but those 2 are fairly recent ones that I have my fingers crossed for
