If you like coloured tights then I can also recommend Snag. They're not the cheapest (they're £6.99 a pair) but they are genuinely some of the most comfortable tights I've ever bought. I also find that they are pretty long-lasting so they don't seem quite so dear when you compare them to a lot of supermarket brands that either ladder or become unwearable after a couple of wears. I haven't tried the patterns or fishnets but I wear the black, gray and 'builder's tea' colour for work and I love them.

don't think I've ever had a pair of tights last long enough to need washed- they always ladder with the 1st wear. I've just bought some Snags though so ever hopeful.

I've laddered so many pairs of tights just getting them out of the packet but the Snag ones really are good - they remind me of good-quality dance tights as they are very stretchy and hardwearing. I've got some that have been washed quite a lot (net bag, cool wash) and they're absolutely great. I bought a few pairs of the 50 denier ones a couple of months ago and I think I've thrown one pair away, and that was because I tripped when wearing them and ripped a hole in the knee. The sheers they sell are less hardwearing but I prefer the 50 denier ones anyway, and they're doing well so far! I figured that I was spending about £1.75/£2.00 per pair for tights and often only getting one wear, so £6.99 for a pair that lasts well isn't too bad at all.
  • lidl tights are really good. They are not there frequently but I find them great quality to store up on.
Primark tights in 100 denier tend to slip off.
medium priced tesco are great but the value ones are terrible.

Does any know where to buy navy tights in 15 or 10 denier now? They used to be readily available, but I've not found them for a few years.

Pretty Polly have Elbeo 15 denier tights and gloss nylons in navy, but they're quite dear. If you sign up for their newsletter they do have various deals at certain times of the year and will send you a coupon, quite often I've been able to get 20% off.

so far so good with the Snags, though I have short legs so there's a bit of Nora Batty around the ankles
  • Another vote for Snags here. If you're larger than a 16/18 high street tights just don't fit round the bum and top of the thighs. They're pricey but choice is great, quality is excellent and customer service is excellent. I'm hoping they don't become too big to care like other companies do as they are a new company. So far so good though. And all recyclable packaging too.

    Hi,

There are a number of tights available on Amazon you can check them. I have purchased one from here and I really liked the quality.
