Car repo and debt advice
My partner has been having financial difficulties since July due to a mistake with her working tax credits.
Just under 2 months ago she had her car repossessed, and isn't currently paying her debt, although she has had 2 letters saying that she hasn't been paying but hasn't received any demands from the company as yet.
I know that she will be unable to pay her debt in full, and I really don't know what the next stage of preceding's is? Although not currently living together we are looking for a property to move in to soon and I was also wondering how this will affect me if I do start living with her?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

She needs to discuss repayment options with the lender.
It only affects you if you are financially associated.0 -

Depends what you mean by looking for a property - to buy or to rent? If looking to buy or rent jointly any credit check on her is not going to look good.0 -
So we're looking to rent but most estate agents in our area won't take single applications if it is for more than 1 adult. I don't see a way around it personally?0
