Adding another Panel?

I have 6 x 300w panels in landscape orientation on my woodshed roof. I went for that configuration as the symmetry would look good, and it would allow me to put roof tiles around the panels to make them look roof-integrated. Now that the panels are in place, I cant see them from our house or from the garden and I'm wondering if i should stop worrying abut how they look and instead focus on maximising their output?
I could shuffle the existing panels across the roof (they are currently centred) and then add another 300w panel in portrait mode at the end of the existing array. This would give me 2100 watts feeding into a 1500w max inverter.
Is it worth the hassle of moving the panels, is it technically feasible to add a panel to the existing array? These panels are an addition, so not subject to FIT payments, but I did have to get DNO approval. I believe that the DNO approved the 1500w output from the inverter, rather than the potential generation from the panels, is that the case? (i.e. can I add a panel and not inform the DNO?)
Thanks in advance for any advice, knowledge, etc.

Hiya, the DNO permission will almost certainly be linked to the sum of the inverters and the theoretical max that they can export, so adding more PV shouldn't breach the permission. I did ask this very question of my DNO, and was told that I could do what I want with the PV, but any increase in inverter capacity would need reviewing.
Before you do anything though, check the specs of the inverter and the panels. Make sure that the panel max voltage x 7 won't exceed the inverter voltage limit.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
