Two PCN's

Hi,
The driver decided he would leave the car he was driving in a car park operated by UKCPS on Saturday night until Monday morning. Obviously the driver overstayed the time limit and on top of this received 2 PCNs. Both of these were issued on the Sunday roughly 12 hours apart (9am and 11:30PM). The driver is a member of the 24-hour gym on that site but he did not use the gym that day. The driver also shopped in the Aldi on the Sunday. Unfortunately he does not still have the receipt.
Obviously in this case the driver is mainly at fault but is it still worth trying to appeal? Do you think it is likely they will follow this through to claims court?
Also do you think the driver should send two separate letters or one letter referencing both issue numbers? I assume he should send separate letters.
Thanks

Need to know the actual parking company. full name exactly as it appears. EXACTLY. No acronyms. Obvciously without this we cannot tell you anything about likelihood of court!
Edit your post so the drivers identity is hidden. Call them "the driver" Do this now, with no arguments.0 -
You need to get your acronyms right so we don’t go off at a tangent.
PCN = Parking Chatge Notice. I think you meant PPC = Private Parking Company?
IPS - we don’t have one of those on the forum. I think you meant IPC = International Parking Community?
I think you’re racing a bit too far ahead on this. We need to know the name of the PPC to give you an insight into how litigious they are.is it still worth trying to appeal? Do you think it is likely they will follow this through to claims court
One of the golden rules here is that you never inadvertently identify the driver on an open forum. PPCs prowl! So please edit your opening post, using the term ‘the driver’ when describing what happened.
The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 is then your next port of call as that will advise and guide you through the initial appeals process. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks for the advice.
I have edited the post accordingly.0 -

This is a saving forum, not a pay up forum.
If you cant be bothered to read a helpful post then pay up. Court is no big deal - as the court reports on here show - and if youre happy funding parasites who prey on the sick and the elderly, pay up.0 -
Editing still required to your opening post.
Your last paragraph should start something like:Also do you think the keeper should send two separate letters...0
