thanks for your help. I also run a social group but Im going to pack it up after may, just paid £60 its a meetup groudDefinitely ring EE - I did this with my DS a few years ago and he managed to get a reduction in cost while increasing his data. Sometimes you have to be a little cheeky and ask. did cheeky ask and said i couldnt afford it she said im on the cheapest plan??? £16 for samsung rubbish pad and rest of 88 on samsung s7 phone
If you are still under contract for a year with Satellite/Cable then do as above and ask for a reduction. will ask this includes internet. broad band and tv.
Ditch Iceland and switch to Aldi or Lidl. ok will do . like iceland as they do mini pack salad £1.20 small packs of things and their chickens are only £3.50 cooked
Meal plan - lots of ideas on the Old Style board. I do meal plan, did sunday dinner yesterday and got remains today, but i do over spend at times also including a few small amounts for mini hampers for parents and daughter
If you can't/won't reduce the cost of the hair salon then at least stretch it a week longer in between visits. yes but its a bargain at £30 and i work in a really prestige company so dont want to look freight.
With no holiday planned, that money can be thrown at the debts.
no holiday next year your right
Clothes that you can't afford for parties that you can't afford are not going to help your debt situation. You have to make sacrifices to get rid of the debt. That said, hindsight is a wonderful thing and ebay would possibly have got you nice clothes for the party at a fraction of the cost. Party tops tend to be worn once. I've had a quick look and found several at £5-£6 including postage. (This would give you over 30 tops for the amount you have paid to fashion world) Not everything on ebay is 2nd hand either, there are many shops too. yes will make sacrifices but I do like nice clothes and dont go out often but I am changine,
Can you get overtime or a second job? No over time work 55 hours now including travel
This is going to take a major mind-set change to achieve and I'm not sure you have had a LBM yet. It's going to be hard work, there will be sacrifices along the way. The debt didn't get there overnight so there is no over-night, quick fix. I'm sure with determination you can make a significant difference.Debt £10k , HMRC £3K old debt £4k Jan 2021

At least give Aldi/Lidl a try- there is no reason why you can't still get some things at Iceland and the rest at A or L.
We shop across Tesco, Iceland and Lidl! Each place has different things we like or can get the cheapest.0 -
You need to find a shed load from your expenditure to throw at the debt.
The monthly interest just to stand still and fund your debt os £346
To pay off 118 within 12 months you need to add a further £232 per month
If you maintain this debt repayment (redirecting interest from paid off loans into remaining debt) it will take a further 17 months to reduce the debts to zero. That is if the 0% period lasts 29 months or more.
You need to start getting tough with yourself and the contracts you are in a speak to a manager within each organisation to get a cancellation or fantastically better deal than you are currently on , as its obvious you are living well beyond your means.Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.0 -

Renting the spare room is a great idea. By choosing where you advertise/ tell people it is available you can get different people interested. But remember when you have another adult in the house you will no longer be eligible for the single person council tax.But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
