Hi,
I recently checked my CCJ record on Registry trust ltd and it showed county court business centre judgement for 600£ dated Jan 2016.
Its for capital one credit card. The default date was oct 2011 and six year has passed and i have never acknowledged the payment.
So the CCJ Record will stay for 6 years from jan 2016 till jan 2022 ? i am confused and worried.
Defualt date 2011 Oct
CCJ Date Jan 2016
Can anyone help?

I am confused about default date and CCJ?0 -
The ccj replaces any default so yes it will be 2022 before that comes off your record.
The CCJ was issued before the debt was statute barred£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

Your creditor has 6 years in which to take legal action, the cause of action date, is likely to of been a few months prior to the default date, but still within the 6 year time frame, that is what has happened here, you still haven’t said if you received the claim forms or not, I’m assuming not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Not true. CCJs only stay on the register and hence credit reports for 6 years from the granting of the CCJ.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
