Interesting. Certainly, the media does seem to have all turned very bearish in the last couple of months - hard to think of any papers/broadcasters who aren't at the moment. Certainly a big turnaround from the property !!!!!! shows of the last few years.

The question is, does the media reflect public opinion or attempt to shape it? If the former, small falls already seen must surely increase. If the latter, we will have to see whether fear can triumph over optimistic greed. My guess is that people prefer to be peddled dreams of unearned wealth than nightmares of untold losses - viewing figures will probably be lower...

    Interesting......

Remember is all about ratings. Any channel will show any anything if they think people will watch it. With all the doom going on at the moment has anyone noticed how many doom and gloom programs are on now? i will still watch it!

It probably makes even better television to watch people losing money on property than watching them make money - at least with investors.

I've given up on 'Location, Location, Location' as it now treats the viewer as an idiot who can't recall what happend before the commercial break! They spend about 40% of the programme going over what they were just talking about!!

When will we see one of these programmes about real people, not 'iv'e got a £500,000 budget - help me choose my villa and a commuter crash pad'. These people are so up themselves is quite sickening - using the programme instead of using Rightmove to do their donkey work! Much as they try I still can't feel sorry for them and their terrible predicaments!!!

How about the struggling 1st time buyer looking at starter homes with good advice about not paying over odd's for this/that and the other - how to save on conveyancing/solicitors and how to do more DIY in the home on a budget - this would make much better viewing and would also be useful to viewers..

You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
