Have people achieved any paid work after doing a survey, being interviewed for an article for instance?

I've been offered interviews for "case studies" before, but always decline them as don't fancy being in the papers! It pays quite well though. I think one poll and Opinium research have offered me these before. I've had a market researcher come to my house before to ask questions about a brand off the back of a focus group I did. They paid me £60 for an hours work so not bad
