What use for all this brown paper?

Online delivery yesterday revealed a box containing about half a mile of 12 “ wide screwed up Brown “packing” paper ( I exaggerate but it stretched almost out to our roadway!
Can’t bear to waste it but can’t think of any innovative ways of using it. Help please! We’ve given up doing Christmas presents !

We use it to light woodburner, it would make good base for Christmas Hampers too

I have enough room to have 2-3 largish boxes tucked away, that I fill with packing materials from on-line deliveries, and smaller boxes that will fold up. When getting near to full, I check if anyone in the family needs packing stuff, if not, it goes on to Freecycle - someone who is moving or does mail order will always take it (I tear off address labels).
I am a little obsessive about recycling though - I have not actively bought any Xmas / gift wrapping for 7 years (I have acquired the odd 'free gift' sheet). There's a family game about remembering the last gift it was wrapped around!
