I hope she's back to health soon. That, and I hope there aren't steroids making her sleepless x

Hope the littlest feels better soon. Never thought to mention this before but are you registered as a carer? You could get all sorts of help and advice from such as Carers Hub and Carers UK. If you are registered with your county council you might be able to access grants and allowances. After all you are a carer even though you're her mum xx

  • Thank you. I'm exhausted.

SA not why there's no DLA I'm not classed as her carer.

Today's been long and I'm sure tonight will be longer.

Tomorrow's Children in need day at school for the older two.

I have meal planned. Need to do the food shop now  Still need to look out a bed for DS etc. Feel like nothing from my too do list has been done today.

Hi WB :) Hope DD isn't too poorly and you both managed to get some sleep. Write a list of everything you have done - I'm sure it will be more than you realise :)

It's been ages since I've had to do anything Children in Need or Red Nose day related. Can't say I was sorry to see that side of primary go, there seemed to be something every other week and it all cost money in some way or other. :o

Hope you all have a good and restful weekend. xx

I can't believe you're not classed as her carer, that's so wrong, as is the DLA saga :( Have you tried contacting Carers organisations for help, they're not just for those looking after old people and they might be able to move things along with the DLA.

A long day spent getting youngest seen.Extra steroids and an extra antibiotic. Fingers crossed this brings on some improvement. If not we will have to go in :(

Anyway managed to get some stuff done in the house. Have wrote the things needed for Xmas.

Tea I didn't but the smalls CIN things :o I made T-shirts from an old white t-shirt and did spots with face paint :o

I will have a look SA. Smalls do still attend a young carers group.

Hope the steroids and antibiotic do the trick, Wannabe. She's had a while being healthier and maybe that will have made her stronger too. x

We are on the ward after coming in through a&e. Hoping some ivs are enough to give her a kick in the right direction. Really hoping it's a normal bug that's put us here. Waiting for results on what's causing the issue. If not it's a scary place to be in. We have no other options to her care plan. We are at the top end and even over licensing on her meds. We've tried other options and so far this has been the best but if it's no longer working I'm not sure what the next step is and neither are her team.

So if I'm quiet I'm just busy not disappeared.
