Just after some advice - a defaulted account from a NPower has appeared on my credit report for an address I lived in 10 years ago, but the default START date is from October 2016, a full 9 years after I moved out of that property. Can I challenge to get this taken off my credit file?
Cheers

Yes, contact them and ascertain what's going on. Was the final bill settled when you left the property?
If they do not work with you to correct the default date, or remove it if it is invalid, contact the ICO and ask them for assistance.
