I was looking on ebay for a tea cosie, then it suddenly stuck me I could use a old hat, or indeed a fairly new one I never wear.
Indeed I have a few I never wear as the are not very good for various reasons.
So found a use for them.
I will see how well it work next time I make a brew!

One I have fits over very well, and it does not have holes in for the spout or handle which let heat escapes.
Problem with it was let the wind through a bit to easilly for on a bicycle, but should be OK in the house.
