help with tesco grocery delivery charges please !

does anyone know if tesco reduce the delivery charge for next day delivery when you order the goods say at 11pm ?
I would like to send my student daughter a hamper for next Friday, but I object to paying £6.00 delivery. If I was to place order late on thurs is it likely to be cheaper ? Thank you

If you are spending £30 or more you can save £10 with a discount code - it more than pays for the delivery.

    I've pm'd you.

No - all that will happen is they will have run out of delivery slots!

Use a code, and lots of bogoffs, to get your total to £30, as these come off after delivery.

For cheaper delivery, it's usually Monday or Tuesdays, and very late at night...when any self respecting student should be at the pub. I take it you want 10am delivery, when you can guarantee she's still at home and in bed!

Peel off the lid and remove the satchet of sauce. Pour on boiling water to the fill level and let it stand for 2 minutes. Then you should stir it well and let it stand for another 2 minutes, then stir it again and add more water if required. The pot noodle should then be thrown in the bin at once and not be eaten.

  • Thanks to everyone ! Depending on the result today, I am going to send her and housemates a little food and plenty of alcohol for them to enjoy whilst watching the Rugby world cup final next saturday !!!! ?
Thanks again for all your help..and if I ever catch her eating pot noodles she'll be in big trouble !!!! lol
yet I'm prepared to supply her with alcohol...just realised I must be very odd indeed !!!
  • Was supposed to be delivered today between 10-12pm, was 10 minutes late so I've had my £6.25 delivery charge refunded !!!! so with £10 discount too, I'd call that a result ! Daughter and housemates are delighted ! Not only are we IN THE FINAL, but they now have vodka, southern comfort, wine, bread, bacon, fruit etc !!!!! Go Johnny !!

I wish my Mum was that cool! Does your daughter know how lucky she is?

I'll be making do with virtual alcohol

She does ! I'm not that cool really, but thanks anyway ! We just miss her, and so when we can afford to; we treat her ! I guess you can enjoy the rugby with a cup of tea..although I've never done it myself !! xx
