Terms and conditions
for Pura competition

The Promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), Channel Islands and Isle of Man aged 18 or over. Promotion excludes employees or contractors of the Promoter or any of its subsidiaries or associated companies, any person directly or indirectly involved with the Promoter or the running of the competition, or their direct family members.
We reserve the right to deem as invalid any entries: (a) from third parties, organized groups or applications automatically generated by computer; (b) which are incomplete, corrupted, altered or fraudulent, or (c) which do not accord in all respects with these terms and conditions.
The Promotion shall commence on 11th October 2017and the Closing Date for entry is midnight on 4th April 2018. Entries will not be accepted after this date.
No purchase necessary.
Entry can only be made via the website and internet access is therefore required.
To enter: visit www.puracoconut.co.uk/competition and take our quiz to find which of 4 selected holidays (Volcano Experience Lanzarote, Northern Lights Iceland, Truffle hunting Croatia, Tomatina Festival Spain) would be your dream holiday. By completing the quiz and entering your details, you will be entered into the prize draw to win one of the 4 selected holidays. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
The prize draw will take place within 7 days of the Closing Date and will be overseen by an independent person. The decision of the independent person is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All prizes will be drawn at random and the winner will be informed within 3 days of the prize draw via the email address they submitted via the entry form. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner but in the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of receipt of the notification email a replacement winner will be drawn.
There are no cash or other alternative prizes available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternatives of equal or greater value. The prize is subject to availability and is non refundable.
The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this Promotion.
The promoter requires that the winner send 2-4 travel photos from each activity they go on during the holiday, to the Promoter by emailing the images to [EMAIL="hello@puracoconut.co.uk"]hello@puracoconut.co.uk[/EMAIL] within 7 days of returning from the trip By submitting photographs you confirm that the photograph is your own and does not infringe the copyright of any third party or any other legal requirements. You also confirm that the Promoter has the right to display the photograph on their website(s) and in any other publicity material. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the winner. However, in consideration of their providing the prize, the winner grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to Edible Oils Limited to use any or all of the submitted photographs in any of their publications, on their websites and/or in any promotional materials.
By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of the terms and conditions.
Personal information will be retained purely to enable the management of the promotion and will not be used for any other purpose without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or permanent injury caused as a result of the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter accepts no liability for loss or injury as a result of the Promotion or receipt or misuse of any prize.
Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
PRIZE

One competition winner will win a holiday for two (the winner plus one guest of their choice) to one of the following four holiday destinations (the destination decided by their quiz results): Northern Lights in Iceland, Truffle Hunting in Croatia, Volcano Mountains in Lanzarote or the Tomatina Festival in Spain. The winner will win one of the four holidays meaning that only one of the holidays will be given away.
The package will include (for 2 adults): Return flights from a major London airport to one of the following airports – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Volcano), Keflavik International Airport (Northern Lights), Pula Airport (Motovun), Valencia Airport (Tomatina) including taxes, fees and 1 piece of hold luggage.
Volcano Experience, Lanzarote

3 nights at an amazing adult only hotel. The experiences included are a tour of the volcanic Timanfaya National Park with a visit to a special viewing point where you can see over all the volcanoes. Then a trip to El Diablo, a restaurant that cooks its dishes over a volcano and features live Canarian music. Then there is a lava tunnel walk, which is a bit like caving/spelunking experience to explore the underground caves that have been carved out by ancient lava flows. Then there is a submarine safari to dive under the sea and experience all the sea life. £100 travel expenses and £400 spending money are included.
Northern Lights, Iceland

3 night stay at a beautiful luxury hotel. There is a boat trip to go and see the northern lights with drinks and nightcaps included. Then there is a trip to the geothermal area to go to the spas during the midnight sun and experience the natural hot springs and saunas, and then swim in the cold lakes. You can go and visit the geothermal bakery and see how they use the earth to cook bread and try some local delicacies and then take a boat trip to go whale spotting. £100 travel expenses and £400 spending money are included.
Truffle hunting, Croatia

3 night stay in a really beautiful remote spa hotel. The spa services included are saunas, steam baths, special experience baths and showers, massages, pedicures and sea salt peels. Then go paragliding across the Motovun countryside in tandem. For the truffle experience you visit a truffle hunter's house, have an aperitif and then you and some specially trained truffle dogs go on a truffle hunt. After this you learn how to prepare a meal with truffles and get a lovely meal of cheese and wine and other yummy local things. £100 travel expenses and £400 spending money are included.
Tomatina Festival, Spain

3 night stay in a 4 star hotel. Welcome party when you arrive at Tomatina. Free breakfast every day. Walking tour of Valencia. Tomatina ticket. Free Sangria party before Tomatina and entry to the official Tomatina after party. All transportation is by first class coach. £100 travel expenses and £400 spending money are included.
The winner and guest will be solely responsible for obtaining their valid passports and visas (or where applicable, visa exemptions) and ensuring they satisfy entry requirements.
All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.
Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended.
Where the winner’s companion is under 18, prior parent or guardian permission must be provided in writing.
The prize excludes any form of travel or medical insurance, any accommodation extras (mini-bar, room service, meals, drinks, etc.), any travel transfers, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas, other personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
The winner will be notified of the proposed holiday dates once they have been contacted by the Promoter and have accepted the prize. If the winner is not able to travel on these dates the Promoter will attempt to find another acceptable date where possible, but withhold the right to award the prize to another entrant if the original winner is not able to attend on the dates offered.
Flights available from major international airports in London only; winner and guests must have full passport valid for at least 6 months at time of travel; any necessary visas are responsibility of winner and guest; a valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation; accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing a twin or double room. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to obtain suitable travel insurance for the duration of the trip; prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; no cash alternative is available; prize is subject to availability; prize cannot be taken from 21st December 2017 – 2nd January 2018 (Christmas and New Year) or over UK bank holidays; travel dates will be within 12 months of the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame; stay must include a Saturday night in the hotel; all elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; at least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; the prize excludes domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
GENERAL

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
