Morning all,
It was such a lovely sunny day yesterday and looks like another sunny day again today! Yay!
Yesterday i went into town with my OH as he wants GTAIV ps3 game for his birthday....i wish he would have told me earlier as there all out of stock everywhere. Theres a 2 week waiting list in HMV so i might get it from there and use quidco too.;)
I brought a top from debenhams yesterday with my vouchers, i got it home and dont like it on.So i will be taking that back and get my vouchers back!
Im running low on foundation i noticed and i only use bare escentuals minerals make up, which is around £35 on QVC but less than half that price on ebay.;) Its the only make up i can use on my skin esle i just break out in spots. So i have £11.75 in my paypal account, i need to do some slicethepie and more ebaying so i can get it upto £15 so i can buy bare escentuals.
My wages arent going to be paid in on monday this week because of bank holiday so ive got to wait until wednesday instead this week.
Writers:share is back up and running...so far ive only typed 3 comments as its hard to know what to type about for 3 paragraphs. I will do some more today if theres any left.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Another lovely sunny day here so far!
Im going to have a nice easy lazy day today! It not often i get a bank holiday off!
I just moved over my £300 from my ISA to my account so i could pay off £1000 on my ASDA card. Its all done and dusted now.
Leaving me with £839 remaining debt left to pay on ASDA card.:D
And leaving me with nothing in my bank account and 15p in my ISA! Im not sure if wages will be paid in tomorrow or wednesday because of bank holiday. But next bill (£35 mobile) isnt until 15th so not to worry. Plus i have £10 in purse that my mum gave me towards for food while there away.
Now lets see if i can save up £839 by the time the next credit card statement is due! I only earn £555 a month (thanks to Gordon Brown for taking my rise in tax)then take away £83 for petrol, mobile and internet. Leaving me with £427.....I dont think i will be able to do it as ive got OH's birthday and trip to London to pay for this month aswell!
But i will try my best! If not i will still be debt free in JUNE!!:DMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Morning
You do so well with the £555 you get per month!! Is there any way of upping your income coz can you imagine what you would be able to do with a bigger wage, there would be no stopping you with your determination and thriftiness0 -
Hiya
Well done paying some more off your Asda card, your doing brilliantly.
I'm going to echo what Keeping Motivated just mentioned, is there any way of upping your income? full time job? because i'm hoping you haven't got a full time job with only £555 per month, thats criminal.
keep up the good work, you will be debt free in no time!

I know thats what i say to my OH i would be rich!:rotfl: At the moment everything is in the air with us because of me feeling so broody. OH doesnt mind when we start a family, he said whenever i feel ready. So we have been caluating how much it would cost to rent etc on only his wage for a 6 months, baby costs etc. So if we do go down that road then i want to keep my present job so i can get maternity leave. But what i am considering is doing a evening job too while not pregant to save up as much money as possible for when we do start trying for a family.
I dont know what to do yet
What i am deffo going to do when out of debt though is go halfs on a laptop with OH so i can do a few of those free NVQ courses mentioned in earlier posts ( that you put in my head KM!) As my dad wont let me do a course on 'HIS' computer as im on it too much already.
I have 10 GCSE's all at the grade C and B but there just not good enough to get a good job every needs asks for experience. The only experience i have is Shop assisant supervisor and Housekeeping!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
How about an evening job in Tesco or another supermarket?
Also how anout getting a laptop with a 0% on purchases card so you can get it sooner and get started with them NVQs. Regarding having a child when I had my baby I timed my study so that when she went to full time school I was fully qualified to start my new career and also during that time I did a little volunteer work in the evening when my husband was home to sit which meant I had practical experience too.
You sound like you plan things very well so I am sure you will do well what ever you decide.

And also what about NVQs in hotel management as you have experience of the hotel industry?0
