Hi all,
First off lilmissmup £2000! OMG!!!!!Is this which a NHS dentist because i though they could only charge set prices now? Of about £300 maxium?
I can't go via NHS, i have to do it privately
My credit report still shows egg and i cancelled the account 2.5yrs ago!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
1st of the month already!
Im feeling very positive today. My car renewal came through the other day, i cant get it any cheaper anywhere esle so im sticking with tesco for the 5th year! And instead of paying monthly i phoned up and put it on my new 0% on purchases Asda card. It cost £530 but if i would have done it monthly it would have cost £580! so i saved myself £50 by putting it on card. I have £300 in my account so should have the it paid off by 15th of this month.
So that will be one less direct debt coming from my account!:j
Now for the loan....asda card only had 3 months 0% on purchases. So i have gone through quidco and found HSBC that has 9 months 0% purchases and £20 cashback. So im going to apply for that and hopefully get appected, then i can use that to pay off rest of loan and wont have to pay the whole of there massive interest and insurance costs! And have 9 months to pay it off! Which i should be able to get it paid off in 4 anyway!
Im a very happy bunny. Fingers crossed i can have the HSBC card with at least £2000 limit.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hi guys,
Im a little depressed this morning, the target for buying a house this year doesnt look so good anymore.I did a credit check on myself the other day and everything excellent on my file. But then OH did one and its a mess! I new he had missed payments in the past etc but i didnt know he had a CCJ which was put on in 2004...so we have another 2 years to wait before it comes off!......im gutted. Theres no way will we get a mortage with his credit history.I havent seen his report yet, im going round later to have a look and see if theres anything we can change on it.
And to top it all off OH couldnt get into work today as his cambelt tensioners are rattling which means cambelt is near to going so cant risk driving it and cambelt snapping. Ford isnt open today so cant get them to look at it until monday!
Men hey! Rant over.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

I went on a coupon mission today I brought 2 tins of golden syrup which were 2 for £1 in tesco which each had 60p of coupons on there lids.:D So really the syrup was free with 60p free coupons to scan on anything at tesco!:D
Then the new pregancy and birth magazine has a booklet inside which has £13 of coupons it in! (found by someone on vouchers board) so i brought that for £2.70.So £10.30 profit of coupons to scan on anything in tesco!
Then i also grabbed two bottles of Powerade drinks as the ones they have a try me for free offer on them, where you send back they label on the bottle and they send you back a cheque for £1.24!:D They cost £1.40 for 2 in tescos at mo.
