lidl application

Hi, not posted on here before, just a quick question. I applied for a job at Lidl and did an on online test 2 weeks ago yesterday. I got a stock e-mail saying they'd ring or e-mail but i've heard nothing. The deadline for applying was tues 14th so i just wondered if anyone had an idea of how long they take to get back to you ?

I have no idea, but I suspect that it might be the sort of situation where a post on their Facebook page saying that you are disappointed not to have heard something might get someone's butt gently prodded.....

(I mean kicked. Butts getting prodded could sound rude - it wasn't meant that way!)

Typically you'll hear nothing for a while and then a follow-up email along the lines of "we've been overwhelmed with applications and this position has now been filled however we'd like to keep your details on file for x months". However IIRC Lidl normally respond fairly sharpish if they like what you've scribbled down, don't pay attention to the end date because supermarkets do rolling recruitment through the year and much like Aldi are opening stores left right and centre at the moment so you'll probably find another opportunity soon.
