I live in rented accommodation and have nothing to take anyway, Not worried about bailiffs or such like, the fact i am finishing my part time work soon means the issue is resolved.
It was just the wording on the court form that concerned me at the time.
Unlikely to work as an employee any further at my age, quite happy being being self employed.
You must inform the courts if you change or leave employment, and again, it is an offence not to do so. If you state that you're self employed only from the date you leave the part time job, they can't take an AoE any longer any way, so no worries there.
If you fill in the form with your current employment details (Not stating that it has an end date), then try to walk away when it draws a blank, you may well be dragged in front of a judge to explain yourself, so don't do this.

Easier to jump on this with a question. Is an AOE submitted when a CCJ is issued?
I have defaults on my accounts and am re starting a DMP - writing to creditors but fear CCJs will be issued and didn't know anything about AOE (just learnt from reading this)
Are they common - the last thing I could have is my employer getting contacted direct or have any knowledge of my debt I am working mine without people knowing or that is the plan
Any info much appreciated more to help me understand what routes can be taken against me0 -

If you don’t make arrangements to pay a CCJ then a creditor has various other options to enforce the judgement, one of those options is an AOE order.
As long as your repaying it, you won’t get one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
