New job dilemma?!

So I have a little bit of a dilemma, I’ve been offered a new job and I’m not sure what to do. Where I work now, I’m comfortable, I get along with everyone but the job is ridiculous, it’s impossible for one person to manage, I just cannot cope with it. I’ve expressed my concerns and but nothing has changed and I cannot see myself wanting to do the job for the rest of my working years. My wage is also very poor for my age, I need to get a house and on the wage that I’m on it’s impossible.
The new job I’ve been offered is with a big corporate company, I used to work there previously, the job wasn’t as demanding but it felt a little lonely. They’ve offered me an 18% pay increase which can help me get a house.
I am just nervous to leave somewhere that feels like family but I already know I don’t want to do this job forever.

Who's to say the new place won't 'feel like family' after you've been there a while anyway? A big corporate company will have plenty of people working there - it'll only be lonely if you don't talk to them.
You're doing an impossible job on a poor wage - you've been offered a better job which pays more, allowing to you to achieve your goals. Where's the dilemma?
The only one holding you back is yourself.0 -
Sounds awesome, go for it and have a bit of confidence

There's no dilemma here...only fear of change.
Get on with it.Debt 1/1/17 - Credit Cards £17,280.23; overdrafts £3,777.24
Debt 5/1/18 - Credit Cards £3,188; overdrafts £00 -
Let's look at it this way:
If you were truly happy in where you are now, you would not have applied for this second job with an 18% wage increase. Subconsciously I'd say you want out, you know you want out but you don't want to jump ship.
I'd say follow your heart. If your heart says you could do with the money, go for it. If you want the familiarity but the crap wage, stay where you are but you may regret not going for it, and your ultimate next job may not have an 18% wage increase.0
