How far does your LIz Earle skincare go?

I'm a recent convert to Liz Earle skincare.
But I've just finished my first 100ml Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I think I opened it in early Sep, so its not even lasted a month & a half.
I use one squirt at a time, morning & night. As it doesn't foam its not like a tiny pea goes a long way. But I do find one squirt on the pump is just enough.
Am I using too much? I don't think I could get away with using less.

I haven't bought the toner yet, I was thinking I would buy the one with the spritzer on & just spray from the bottle instead of using it up on cotton wool.

I started using Cleanse and Polish in February and I'm just finishing my second 100ml bottle! I almost always use it morning and night although I sometimes miss one out if I'm rushing. I probably do half a pump at a time. I also use the Skin Tonic spritzer as I hate the thought of wasting it on cotton wool too. As time has gone by I've tried just about all of Liz Earles products, I love the Face Exfoliator best of all.

What I do now to save money is to buy it on QVC when they have a Todays Special Value, I take what I need from the set and sell the rest on ebay for pretty much the full value.

I wouldn't be in during the QVC specials.
I did get 3 C&Ps from the Liz Earle website for less than £30 (can't remember exactly) & free P&P.
How do you make half a squirt wash your face? It really seems to go nowhere, especially as it doesn't lather!

I just squirt out one pump onto my hand & smear it all over my face, mind you some always gets stuck down between my fingers (in fact quite a lot goes in between my fingers), any tips for smearing it economically?

I will buy the toner on my next order, I just got the 3 C&P & they sent me a free sample of the moisturiser.

it depends a bit whether you wash your face or your face neck and decolletage - I use a full pump each time and find that if I use it on damp skin it feels as though it's not making contact as much but it still is (IYSWIM). I also use the spritzer toner and it really does make my moisturiser go further.

I buy direct from Liz Earle - unless you're going to use everything in the TSV on QVC then the P&P makes it very expensive imo. Once you've got the hang of how much to use then it's cheaper to buy the 200ml tubes from Liz Earle without the muslins (once you've bought a few kits you usually have enough muslins to be going on with). If you buy a bulk order then you get a free gift worth about £10 from Liz Earle - can't remember how much you have to spend (£65?) but I usually put in an order every 9 months or so including 2x 200ml C&P a 200ml spritzer toner and treatment products and get a 100ml C&P or something of similar value free.

If you're using the tubes of C&P (or any tubes of beauty stuff) then when you think it's empty cut the tube in half and scoop out all that's in the top half and put it in the bottom half and then use the top half of the cut tube as a lid for the bottom - I get another 2 weeks of C&P out of my tube that otherwise I'd have chucked out...

The only thing that I can think of is that I pump it onto my fingertips, not all over my hands and fingers so no waste. I only do my face, not my neck and I do exfoliate quite a lot as I love the smell, maybe exfoliating a lot helps the C&P go further?

Justie, how do you fix the top and bottom of the tube together? I'm thinking that you don't use the pump once it's been cut in half? .. maybe?!

Liz earle also has an official seconds shop on ebay : )

The packagiing usually has a miniscule mark on it that makes it a second. I buy the 200ml tubes this way as I think they are more economical than the 100ml pumps as I can scrape out the very last dredges from the tube, just like you would with toothpaste. Usually stuff is a bout 30% cheaper than her main site.

I treat my Mum to the moisturiser at Xmas from the ebay seconds shop at Xmas - she doesn't care about the packaging - it's the product she raves over : )

Sadly I still can't afford the rest of her range even this way but C&P is my one extravagance as it makes such a difference to my excema prone skin in the winter.

Found it, but I'm not convinced its any cheaper as there are no multi buy offers & the P&P is £3 per item.
  • May I suggest, as moneysavers, you try this instead:

Tesco's "bnatural" skin brightening cleanser - 150ml pump - costs £3 something. It's like a combination of Liz Earle's C+P and her skin brightener.

Label says : "Naturally brightening pumpkin extract to help smooth the skin. Inca inchi oil rich in omega oils helps to regenerate and maintain skin hydration" "Naturally active botanicals. No mineral oil or parabens. Contains organic jojoba oil"

I've found this product works just as well for a fraction of the cost and no p&p either.
