Poor credit personal loan
Hi all, I’ve checked my credit score and it’s currently at 176 which is poor, without going into detail with my life and circumstances I’d just like a point in the direction of a lender for personal loans up ov£1,000 that is ‘likely’ to accept me.
My score the previous month was 0 so it’s improved considerably IMO, it’s only going to be in the rise, as I’m gettint my finances in order- I just need some money (long term repayments to get my head above water..
I’ve tried most Loan companies but if anyone has any decent suggestions with past history etc please do let me know.
Ty in advance

Ignoring your credit score, which has no bearing, what do your credit files show?
What are the issues?0 -

Only loan sharks are available to you, just like big jim and his 2 sons down the local pub or Hatchet Harry who owns the local gym/boxing club.
Unfortunately there are no lenders who do loans for those with a poor credit history, well there are but the apr would be high.
You tried your own bank ?
Will these bills reoccur ? Bit pointless in getting the money if the same situation will happen.0 -

I was going to suggest Big BAZ, but he would want an arm and a leg and a kidney as collateral.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Ccj for Lloyds overdraft of £4.2k from a year ago, I buried my head in the sand but am now making monthly repayments. A loan from amigo of 6k paidnoff monthly, two old orange debts from 4 years ago being paid monthly - no missed payments on any. And a small loan of £600 from die lamps being paid fortnightly - no missed payments.
Income £1900 p/m with outgoings of £800 inc repayments.
Tried online with Halifax no avail, considering going in branch though for a personal touch0 -
You're not going to get another loan with that income, debts and defaults.

Don't want to sound harsh but it is clear from your previous threads that you have not learned anything from your situation and are in a constant cycle of debt - which shouldn't be the case if your income is £1900 and your outgoings £800. That's £1100 left over - where is it going. You mentioned gambling in another thread - is this still an issue?0

Why do you need a loan of £1,000 when you can save that from your budget surplus in a month?
You've demonstrated a bad relationship with debt, and are paying for this. Do not repeat the same tricks, as borrowing £1,000 in your circumstances will cost you far more than that, and then what happens the next time you need money, more borrowing?
Visit the DFW boards and the Budgeting boards for advice on how to save, and avoid debt to pay your way.

Go to the debt free wannabe board. You're consolidating all the time, and need to stop that cycle because as you can see if you look at your current finances versus your beginning finances, you're worse off now for borrowing the money.
You currently owe over 10k, and are looking to borrow more which is just plain silly.
Start by going to the debt free boards, post an SOA and see what happens.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -

Not one of the wiser moves to go into Hx branch bearing in mind that they are connected to the Lloyds Banking Group. The branch will not be able to do anything for you.0
