Accident and she didn't stop?!

Options
Hello

I was with my friend traveling to work in her car and a car and van were parked behind each other half on the pavent/road, the road was clear for her to pass by then a idiot come flying out a turning and cut by her passing the parked vechiles. As she passed the parked vechiles she knocked her wing mirror which just bend it backwards (no damage to it) but she is shaking and so scared right now as she didn t stop to see if she caused any damage to the vechiles she passed. What would you do? She is at work till 8pm :-(

She didn't stop and now she's concerned? Well too right.

Wing mirrors can be expensive to replace, my last one was £300. The driver there tried to make off too, but by pure chance my partner was walking past at the same time and followed her.

Contact the local police station and let them know what's happened? If anyone witnessed the accident and it's reported by the witness or the car's owner, at least your friend has left details.

It's either that or ignoring it and hoping nothing comes of it.

    What accident?
  • If there’s no damage there’s no real further action. If there is most police stations have self reporting pro-formas and some forces you can report online.
