Online food shopping - home delivery

Not sure if this is the best place to post this thread. But as i am now living some walk away from all the nearest big supermarkets (tesco/asda/morrisions/sainsbury's) i was wondering if it might be better to buy a big shop online and then get the goods delivered.
Does any one know how much delivery costs and if it is ever free if you spend over a certain amount etc.?
Um, and any other general food shop cost cutting tips.

its miles better - no cost of driving to the supermarket no queues - you can always find a code for free delivery or money off your shopping, extra clubcard points at Tesco. You can instantly see how much you are spending and stick to a budget

the delivery usually costs
but if you keep an eye on the discounts board here, there is a dedicated thread for Tesco
and threads for various shopsI always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -
