Anyone have experience of what kind of questions to expect in this interview? I already work in the NHS (Kitchen Assistant) so used to values-based interview, but should I expect anything more technical?

All I know is it's the only interview where the response "Oh, stick it up your a**e" can sometimes get you the job.0

Yes. What does the job description call for?
I would expect questions seeing if you know:
What different types of endoscopes are there?
Why it's done?
Different cleaning techniques
Patient risks
What type of procedures they perform in the hospital you're applying for.0 -

It's a Band 2 job!
Make sure you can cover the competencies in the job description. They are not going to expect you to have any specialist knowledge.0 -
The main criteria seems to be for customer service experience, and I've been doing that since I was 18! I'll expect the normal team-working, patient care, and research the role a little further. It's a neighbouring Trust to the one I work for, but have been interviewed by them, so I will certainly expect to be asked about the Trust itself.0

Think of good examples of when you've demonstrated those things, as they'll probably ask for those. I wouldn't have thought they'll ask you anything to technical or specialist but it will show you're keen if you can demonstrate a bit of that from reading around it.
If it will involve patient contact they might want to know that in addition to good customer service you're aware of confidentiality and how important that is.
And of course have a good answer for why you want to do the job in the first place
Best of luck, let us know how you get on.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
They may well ask for your previous experience in how you deal with a55holes at work.0

They may ask you about the trust, might be useful to read up on the volumes of patients, who performs the endoscopy - surgeons vs medics0
