Hi
My son will be 10 near Halloween so I am having a birthday party for him at home with a Halloween theme.
Now I would like to give a prize for best costume, winner of games (I love the mummy game!!) etc but I I don't have a big budget so something that won't break the bank.
I am doing all the food myself too.
There will be 4 girls and 5 boys (plus my own 6):eek:
I would also like to make adults feel welcome (fancy dress is a must though! he he), but I have never done a party at home and I am feeling quite intimidated by it all!!
The parents are all quite well off and quite clicky, but the kids are lovely:T

we usually play pin the nose on the witch draw a huge witch colour it in and play just like pin the tail on the donkey.
find the spiders asda usually sell bags of plastic spiders (about 50 in the pack) we hide them round the living room and the child that finds the most wins
as for prizes children just like to win so anything you give them they are usually happy with try asda they have a good range of cheapish halloween items
good luck im glad this year it is not my turn0 -
Thank you Aberdeen,0

Game mine have always enjoyed..
Fill a cudboard box with cooked spagetti and sweets (but don't tell the childrens whats in it)
They then have to put their hands ino the box of "intestines" to find the sweets!!
Last year we put tins of toms in also so it looked like their hands were covered in blood when they brought them out... very sick and messy but the kids luved it!!110
