I have a free day pass for anywhere on the London Midland network. Any hidden gems along the network in the central midlands area?

not sure about being hidden, but Stratford on Avon ?

Also if you are into heritage railways, what about either Kidderminster to access the Severn Trent Railway- although check if it is running in the Winter season if you need to travel in the near future - or Crewe for the railway museum
