E.on - Changes to FIT T&C

Options
Hi
Has anyone else had the email from E.on about changes to the FIT T&C?
I've tried to read them, I honestly have, but it's 8 pages of 'small print' type text, two columns per page.
I've been fighting a streaming head cold and chest infection and, despite several attempts, just don't have the energy, concentration span or stamina to get past the second page just at the moment :(:o

If anyone else has received this and can confirm whether there is actually anything of any significance buried amongst the small print, clauses and jargon, could you please let me know?

Thanks

They are not their T&C at all. I have had this issue with them before. The companies just administer the scheme for HMG and as I understand it your contract is with HMG in its widest sense, not with the provider. If anything they are passing on changes to the FiT regime under the guise of T&C. I also asked that when they have such changes they should highlight them in the document. Clearly that fell on deaf ears! Mabey Malc will comment on here

I got the same email from them. I'm trying to understand the changes that they have made. In the email it states that the sections that have changed are:

    Meter readings 5.5
    FIT payments 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 and 6.8
    Export meters (half hourly) 7, 7.4, 7.5, 7.7 and 7.8
Export meters (Private meters/smart meters capable of recording export) 8
    Deemed export 9.4
Your key obligations 13.1 and 13.2
    Appendix 1 23.1.5

I'm still trying to work my way through it to be honest. My short term memory is dreadful so I am actually struggling with it too!

Where is our mate Oscargrouch when you need him ???

Maybe it's to cover the rollout of smart meters and their ability to now see export numbers rather than using deemed amounts
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
