Fantastic news. Here's to a debt free future.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Great
Now start utilising the collory to what got you in the position first.
Regular savings with the money you were previously utilising to clear the debt and look at the opportunity for highest interest rates with bank accounts.
Look into pensions with employer or SIPPs
Don't let the hard work of the past just stop as you are debt free, go forward with the same planning and application to build a future on saving for the next goal.Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.0 -
Congratulations!

Trust me we will never get into debt again,it wasnt really our fault to start with,we had a series of horrific events that led to the debt, car crash, redundancy and a massive house fire with which we were underinsured ,it was actuthe bank's idea to max out everything possible to repair the house and then seek advice in paying it back, which we have now done :j:j:jDebt at highest £102k
