Obtaining Bankruptcy Order and Discharge Notification proof

Just spoke to the court as trying to get a copy of my Bankruptcy Order and Discharge Notification but they wany £70 for the pleasure.

surely it cant cost that much to press print ?

    I see from your other thread the email address is not working.

    An alternative is to call the insolvency service (I've always found them helpful):
    Telephone: 0300 678 0015
    Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

    Just to add the bankruptcy notice is printed in the London Gazette - maybe a printout of that will be sufficient?
  • Yes seems excessive. I needed one for a mortgage application and could have done without another £70 plus nearly £10 to park near the the court. Although they did give me 3 copies which was nice.
