So what do i do now?

I work for an Agency. Found out by chance that i was entitled to paid leave. I had to take this in one chunk. The manager told me despite my concerns that i could go over the leave year and still get paid.I caclulated that it would spill over if i left it too late to claim my entitlement, but he continually assured me everything was ok. He even filled in the dates for me which i duly signed.
At the end of leave period my holiday pay went into my account and the next week it was deducted.I have not yet had it reinstated.
I have had no written explanation of what is happening
The manager more or less is blanking me now, claiming he is too busy.
To put coals on the fire, despite my reputation as a hard worker and earlier assurances that work is picking up, the Agency never contact me.
I suspect both things are connected.
It appears that my time with them is now at an end because of this. However i would like to get the wages that i was promised back and maybe still work for them?
What is my next legal move?
Thankyou

I don't see anything that suggests you were not entitled to the holiday pay. The agency may have had grounds to deduct it if it was over-paid. Both will depend on what was in your contract with the agency.
As a first step, I'd write to the agency asking for an explanation of what the deduction in your wages was for and how it was calculated.Debt 1/1/17 - Credit Cards £17,280.23; overdrafts £3,777.24
Debt 5/1/18 - Credit Cards £3,188; overdrafts £00 -
If you are owed money, then you can, if necessary, take them to court to get it. But what you can't do is to make them employ you. The problem you have is evidencing that you had a right to carry leave over the end of the leave year - legally it's use it or lose it. How would you prove that toy were given permission to carry it over?0

One thing that's confusing me is who is the Manager? Is this a manager at the job you were doing or a manager at the agency? Depending on your relationship with the agency, if they are your employer then only they can tell you about holiday pay as they are the ones paying it. The manager at the job you were doing has no relationship with you and has no say over your holiday pay.
You need to speak to the Agency about holiday pay and it is likely their rules are use it or lose it - there's not usually any carrying over permitted. Clarify what has happened with the Agency - that's your next move.0 -
