Incredibly uncommon. Take note of the info just in case, but don't let it worry you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I wouldn’t worry too much. Doorstep collectors have no power, just tell them to go away.
Bailiffs (enforcement officers) can only be sent after court action.Debt Collection Agent

Stepchange have to advise of worst case scenarios, mainly to cover themselves in case it did happen.
However, the chances of anyone in an active DMP ever getting a visit from anyone is vanishingly small.
Remember that DCA collectors have 0 powers, and can safely be ignored.
The chances of receiving a CCJ in a DMP is exceptionally small, and even then, to get to an enforcement stage would require a very big mess up by Stepchange to not inform you of having to take action to avoid this.

Hi S1984
I can only agree with all of the above perspectives. It's important for a debt advice service like Stepchange to make you aware of these things, but it shouldn't be taken as an indication that they are likely/probable. Escalation of a debt to collectors/court would be more likely if you were not engaging with the creditor in any way.
All the best with your continuing DMP.
