Hi all,
It's been a long time since I ventured into this part of MSE! My circumstances have not required it in the past two years but things have changed.
I am challenging myself to feed myself and one other person on what I have in the cupboards/fridge for as long as possible.
I know that there's a lot of tips and tricks but we are both relatively time-poor and value convenience due to our lifestyles and so I'm unlikely to be able to make use of the most MSE trips like making soups and stocks etc.
The contents of my fridge/cupboard etc:
Meat
Fresh Fruit/Veg
Frozen
Fridge
Cupboards
That is absolutely every single thing that we have in our cupboards. Is it possible for us to go an entire month without doing an additional shop?

You have LOADS of food, think curries, think leftovers i.e make a chilli, turn the leftovers into spicy cottage pie.
Also look at expiry dates and what you need to use first.
Make recipes up, I do it all the time and it mostly works! Have a look on the grocery chalenge thread, lots of cheap meal ideas there.Officially in a clique of idiots0 -
Try and make some meals you can cook and freeze in portions if you are stuck for time! Home made ready meals and nothing is wasted!Living the simple life0
