i think the best place to buy from is amazon because they have many items0

Have you tried the Novell Coffee Compostables? They're Nespresso machine compatible and they're very good! Delicious blends and the compostable blends are easy eco-friendly swaps!0

Having tried pretty much every pod available (including a few fancy mail order only pods) my personal favorite was actually Starbucks specifically Kenya ones. They cost the same as Nespresso mind. Cheaper pods are sometimes a false economy as I'd need a couple to get a strong enough coffee. Anyway I got sick of the pod waste and bought a DeLongie bean to cup, using Lavazza Qualità Rossa - beans I find it better in every way, better taste, cheaper, more consistent.0

I’ve also been given a secondhand Nespresso machine and am looking at cheaper capsule options, as I’m used to my DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine.
It’s worth looking at Groupon and Living Social (probably Wowcher too) as these can often be combined with cashback (Groupon also qualifies for Airtime Rewards if you pay with a Mastercard!)
I’ve also seen refillable pods on Groupon which have a flip-up lid; you can fill them with finely ground coffee, and they are apparently reusable up to 50 times each.0 -
I think the Nespresso will be a big downward step from your bean to cup machine.0

b and m has cheap capsules 75p for 10 and they are fine for everyday use. I look anywhere i| go and often pick them up in TK Max in coffee area or sometimes the bargain food area much reduced.
Lidl/Aldi do them not sure as to quality.
Tip the coffee is not always so hot and we always warm the cup before with boilng water and hot milk helps too.0 -
My machine is long in the bin but I remember the coffee in pods from Home Bargains B&M etc was usually fine,it was the pods that caused problems for me some would struggle to put water through others flooded the machine.0

Why not try making your own? It is more eco friendly and you can choose your favourite flavours, ie not restricted to nespressos expensive offerings. Personally I love Aldis Italian blend (Number 4)
I made a quick video showing how to refill you old vertuo pods
