Supermarket food reduction times?

Does anyone know what days and times the perishables get reduced in their local supermarkets? i.e Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda?
I have only been able to figure out our local Sainsbury's which is about 7pm on Wednesdays

I think each supermarket has it's own time, at the discretion of the manager of that particular branch. Why not find a helpful looking assistant in your local store and simply ask?0
