Asda durabrand freeview box

Anybody used one from asda, seems good value for money? Argos has loads on offer, digilogic and bush. I just want people's thought on this. Thanks

  • Ive had one of these for several months and have found it to be a great little box. The features are the same as the more expensive boxes and in my opinion it is every bit as good . I have previously bought pacific video and dvd players by pacific and duraband and found them to be excellant value for money.

I bought a philips and a duraband around the same time. Duraband is a lot better than philips, costs half the money. Duraband has only 1 scart at the back while the philips has got 2.

I have been looking at the Argos ones on offer, but wonder how much is the Asda durabrand one?

The durabrand costs only £19.97, just bought one yesterday. So far, very pleased with it, only 1 scart socket. What I like is the front panel & the vertical position, you can change channels, turn it on & off manually etc, very handy if the remote is not working. I prefer it to the phillips I bought off ebay. Very easy to set up & it came with an aerial lead. It's very light but at that price you cannot go wrong. I did intend to buy bush at £19.99 at Argos, but was put off to the fact that you cannot take it back. Bush is a brand whereas I have not heard much about durabrand, but am pleased I bought it. Hope this helps.
  • The good thing about buying from ASDA is their no quibble refund policy if it goes faulty within 1 year. You have to phone a helpline but they then give you a query number to go into store and quote. Full refund and no hassle!
