Summer fans and winter heaters

Perhaps this is just me but I wanted to share it, as obvious as it may be...
I knew I needed a new fan heater for this coming winter so I purposely went looking and purchased one around August, when it was of little practical use.
As its now getting cold my thoughts are turning towards a desktop type fan, given they are not much use while it is cold, the price may be cheaper.
Might only save you £5 say but it is possibly worthwhile to consider this.
It does remind me slightly of a couple of years back when in the middle of summer there was a large 'basket' of those 'Car de-icer' aerosols for 99p in the local Wilko's. I did grab a couple at that price, figuring they would be 1.99 or more come winter time.
Partly the reason I grabbed a (cheap anyway really) Plastic small 2ft Christmas Tree now rather than wait until December...
