My success with Nemo Personal Finance!

Hello everyone,
Well as you can see by the title i have won my 14 month battle with Nemo Personal Finance..Yippeeee!
Received a call this morning and they have accepted my offer of 50% of the outstanding loan that i had with my evil ex..... I will be sending the cheque off soon and i will be discharged from it. Therefore they will chase him for the rest of the money. (My ex left me to pay all the debt while he did a runner)
I'm so happy cos my debt has now halfed, i can finally look forward to the fucture!!!

Credit Card Charges refunded £300 plus interest

Not yet, The guy i spoke to said as soon as they receive the cheque they will send a letter to confirm that i am discharged from the loan.
Then im going to send it to the credit agancey to prove that i am no longer financially connected with him.

I'd be tempted to get confirmation of the offer/conditions before paying any money personally - what if the person you spoke to suddenly forgets you even had the conversation and you've just given them a nice payment?0

ive got it in writing that if i send the cheque that i will be discharged from the loan.
Once they receive the cheque thats when they will only sent the discharge letter.
