La la la - Happy Friday to Me!!!

Wooooooooooooohooooooooooo!!!

Tidied out my handbag and desk drawers - and apart from a very hairy Milky Way :eek: I came across £2.76 in shrapnel.

Just run around the corner to the bank and lodged £1.96 and came online to pay off the WHOLE amount left on my MBNA credit card - yup a whole £1.96!!!:D

I am now credit card free :A (already been on to ask them to close the account and send me a letter)

So the question is - what shall I spend the 80pence on to celebrate???

Happy Friday DFW's -

  • Think I'm off chocolate having seen the sludgy slimy mess in the bottom of the drawer.

    Would it be silly to put 80p to start off my mortgage pig??

    Might buy me a screw for a front door hinge I suppose - LOL

    I think 80p in your mortgage pig sounds like a great idea, I mean we all have to start somewhere don't we.
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:

  • SAVE IT SAVE IT SAVE IT - take it from me

    80p today - £800 in a few months - £8000 in a year or so - just get into the habit of saving.

    As you got into the habit of paying off every debt and making every penny count - still make every penny count by saving it - you will feel so good - your eyes will shine - your hair will shine - you will bounce when you walk - everything feels great when you save money - okay I need to get a grip - but saving just makes you feel good - it did me (past tense - see my latest ramble) - I'm back in the $#!t again and quite frankly can't see a way out this time !!!!
