My new employee is applying for a mortgage

Hi,
So I started a property development limited company 4 months ago. One of my main employees came to speak with me yesterday to tell me that they are applying for a mortgage and that I may be contacted by banks to confirm their wages.
Will I be asked to provide any of my business accounts also? And would it matter that my company is only 4 months old?
I've never had to do this for one of my staff before and I'm new to owning a business.
Thank you for your advice in advance!

All you should be asked to confirm is that the person works for you, how long for and their earnings0

We routinely check Companies House to ensure the applicant is an employee only and not an equity holder. We suspect lenders do the same...I am a mortgage broker.
