Cancelling gym membership

I joined DW fitness in June and am paying £32 per month, its a 12 month contract. I haven't been to the gym for at least 4 weeks, partly as I've hurt my elbow but mainly because I'm just too busy. I really want to cancel my contract...is this possible as I'm tied into a contract?

    What does the contract say?
    It's nothing , not nothink.

  • Good luck with Fitness First, or DW Fitness First as they're now called.

If you're in a 12 month contract and cancel your DD, expect to be aggressively pursued by them and then DCAS until you either cough up or find a way out.

As others have said, check your contract. They do 1 month, 12 month or annual contracts. Judging by what you pay,I fear you may be on a 12 month contract, so stuck until it ends.
