I actually do a very basic one, but I make year's worth at a time as it matures in the freezer, but a smaller quantity would be 2lb of peeled chestnuts boiled in about quarter to half a pint of chicken stock until soft, puree then then add about 2 oz of butter, good pinch of cinnamon and about half a teaspoon of sugar, then puree all together, should make enough for a fair sized family.

I should add that I keep peeled chestnuts in the freezer from when we collect them in the autumn, peel and freeze then they are ready for anything, but I HATE peeling chestnuts :rotfl::rotfl: I cannot believe what shops charge for the things though !

I won 2 x £3 mands and a £3 Gweggs today.

I tried to use a £5 mands and a Coke in mands today, but it would not work? They put the Coke code in first. In the end they gave up and found another way to take £5 off ... which means I still have that £5 to spend another time .

Yep, as well as the standard andoid pay visa envelopes if you link an hsbc visa card you also get hsbc envelopes, this offer needs linking by the 12th december.

So two days to add to a new account and hopefully more winnings - or do I risk adding to an existing account and changing to HSBC as my main card ... if only I had known about this before. Must read up before signing up .

This is getting too much, I cannot keep up with glitches and offers at the moment. I could do with time off work .

Had a laugh with our Poppy trying to get mums and back home

Going struggling on icy pavements and roads got on a street I had to cross and in road it was black ice and more black ice I was saying to Poppy how do we cross that now don't pull me and hope car doesn't appear or we :eek:

I set off small steps and eventually got across and continued,

Could hear phone ringing in pocket :mad: Knew it was mum because we late so let it ring :cool:

Eventually gets mums and she moaning she had rang she worried when I was late and didn't answer. Told her we was struggling.

Home time off we set still icy grr.

Gets to said street and i plucked up courage to go when a car appeared round corner well he had to stop He got out when he saw i was struggling and helped me and our Poppy across :T i nearly slipped because he walked fast :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Was glad to get home and dreading walking work in it tomorrow .

Bubbs beef was chopped up this morning for casserole and pies, it was a beautiful piece hardly any waste, I'll be stocking up in the week.

I think the tandcs said they could play before 22/11 - they could of course set up a new account (new gmail easy to set up) and try again?

Have others managed to set up a new (second) account or was I just lucky?
