the sets work out cheaper before they were reduced
eg after comparison they were £1.60 each
now theve reduced them, they work out at £2.10 each
i dont care what the apg is, its the actual cost after the apg which is important to me.
Of course they do. Because the 3 for 2 isn't appearing, a higher individual price gave more APG back and therefore they cost less. The higher the individual prices in A, and cheaper the competitor price picked up, the better they work out. A reducing them makes them more expensive.
I was talking about a different issue entirely where reduced prices make things worse. I was talking about different issues so I think we were at cross purposes. I was also mentioning wombles where it's not the actual cost of items after APG but how much APG (if any) they give. For example, if they buy at full price, it's still likely to be good vs everywhere as full price vs full price often isn't 10% cheaper, whereas if they buy on reduced price, whilst they have "paid less" - probably overpaid in relation to a different pack size against a competitor offer with 10%:rotfl: - it's no good for us against competitors that are on full price. On wombles, it doesn't matter if the price is good or not or if they got a smaller product. I had hoped the £15 whiskey on a receipt I have waited a day on to try to ensure that it gets M's £15 if it was one of the 1L bottles.
:rotfl:It turns out it was a 70cl bottle of whiskey in A at £15 and, whilst they have clearly got less product than what another whiskey would have got them, it's better for me as that 70cl bottle compares against the best overall competitor at £14. So, £15 vs £14 instead of the £15 vs £15 I was hoping for.:T:T For ourselves however that is a worse option as lower volume for higher price per unit. I think I confused you by mentioning two different matters. When it's wombles, we care what the APG is, but, when it's our own shops, it is the actual cost after the APG that matters.0 -

All of the above comparisons came back wrong. Rice should be 84p per pack, hula hoops 80p, mayp £2, oreos 54p and Persil £5. Bizarre.
I think you shopped in A for many of T's brand new offers a day too early and T's prices weren't updated in the system yet. It's therefore compared against the prices of the previous day:(. The Hula Hoops are now, I understand, comparing against T's offer price so the other items should be working as well now too. Therefore you needed to be patient and wait at least another day before doing your shop. Or wait until after midnight and then wait, wait, wait, absolutely ages, until you enter the receipt. You need to wait until after at least midday for that and preferably a lot longer in case it is an exceptional case in which the prices for A and its competitors haven't been updated by midday.0 -

not quite got my head together to sort out the Small shops yet - 3 cards to work on this year.

How do people get past the £100 limit with sada
thanks
By not trying to claim any more than £100 on any one account.
This being during the period of a calendar month starting on 1st of each month in GMT and running until the a nanosecond before the moment the 1st of the next month begins but the period covering March doesn't end until 1am on 1st April and, during BST, the period starting at 1am on the 1st of one month and ending at 1am on the first of the next month (if still in BST otherwise ending one hour earlier, i.e. midnight, the moment October becomes November). I know it is complicated but I hope I have explained:rotfl:. Basically, the system is on GMT all year round so "month" means what you normally think of as a month - January, February, March etc. but you have to take it as if we are on GMT whether we are or are not. Means that during the period of summer time, you are waiting an hour longer for the month to begin and also an hour longer from when a shop is done before you can check a receipt. As we are not on BST at the moment, the next APG month is due to start as soon as we are in 2018.0 -
Can confirm the palmolive body butter shower gel flavours that work are vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
Sounds like a neopolitan ice cream! Lol.
Is the 3 for 2 in A now back on the Palmolive Gourmets again? When you say they "work", do you mean against T? Why is the Mint version not working against Morrisons? Or maybe it is, I don't know.
Note people, do not get confused! I thought it was Mint only that should work against M, not any of the other versions that I think I am being told here are working against T. I think it's just the one against M, but not totally sure now - typical that I have thrown away my information from Monday after I thought they were no longer on the 3 for 2 in A and therefore didn't take details on Wednesday:rotfl:. I did notice Mint was still showing £1 just can't remember if one of the other two was a Palmolive Gourmet or not.
EDIT: Seen msm - no, it is Mint and two Palmolive Aromas in M - are they back on the offer in A as well now? I thought they were out of it at the beginning of the week - were they on straight £1 for a few days in A but I see they are now showing £1.50 online for A? It should be the So Vibrant version of those, although that one was N/A against M recently.
Mint Gourmet won't work against T, as we are being told, and that is because it is the only version that A have which T doesn't have (or doesn't have online).
I suspect the answer to my original question will be that Mint does work but only against M (and M is the place against which all the others fail, as M is full price on those at the moment). It's therefore not possible to mix any of the three flavours with Mint as the £1 prices in the two competitors are mutually exclusive.
In effect though, stick to Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry against T as that gives you three different items whereas you are confined to a single item against M (in an attempt against M that may or may not work).
EDIT 2: Now seen 3Dogs' list - yes, Palmolive Butter back on. From that, I can't see that Mint wouldn't be in the 3 for 2 at A. As I do a list against M of items that should work, I will now put Mint Gourmet onto my items that I will be adding onto the M list, even though the fact you can have three different items (subject to your A having them in stock) makes vs T the preferred choice and then buying those other flavours.
The M list is now "updated", as I have endeavoured to remove/cross out all that has expired in M; however if you are wondering why half of the "good" items from M are not there, then you are right, as I still have lots of items to add. In fact, you might think three quarters of what should be new items are not there at the moment, as the other quarter I still haven't found:rotfl:. (Also, several of the "new" items that appear as items in a range are not new items in the range in M: instead they are items that have been there all along and should have been added but are additional items that I have only in a store that I have now visited.)
That's all I can do for now. Back again soon:wave:.0 -
There is a £10 off £40 voucher from Majestic in the DM today (Saturday) according to a HUKD post. I see on my FIrst Direct Visa Offers there is £10 off £40 offer - so spend £50 to get £10 off with the voucher, then £10 back from the Visa offer.

Thank you for sorting out dd surprise present. Every year she likes her present from me to be a complete surprise. I know a hairdryer is on a list but the points back on this make it within budget.
Is there another points promotion before Xmas? I can't find a code that works at all. Wonder if uni days has anything?

Morning all:hello:
Here are the shop results as promised, a bit of a mixed day:cool:
Aussie didn't work as curlgirl confirmed - I hate M Comparisons, always unpredictable (cue a Savvy response!). And I did 3 of them:o. It then messed up the A v M comparisons too.
Was at a different Store (3Dogs, the B one), no B&H and a poor selection of gift sets, and in random places. Triggers used Tommy K crisps, Chomp & Seasonal Muller.
